Kangyur Rinpoche Foundation

The Kangyur Rinpoche Foundation, KRF, was founded in 2003 to promote the values and further the altruistic mission that always defined Kangyur Rinpoche and his family.

The Foundation organizes a variety of events to make Tibetan culture accessible in Portugal.  These include conferences and teachings featuring renowned masters in Tibetan traditions. KRF also organises annual retreats as well as more frequent regular programs of study and contemplation.

Through the guidance of Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche and Tulku Pema Wangyal Rinpoche, KRF also promotes Buddhist publications, mainly by supporting of the work of Padmakara’s Lusophone branch, so it can make accessible essential teachings from classic and modern Buddhist literature, namely the texts connected with philosophy and practice.
